Paolo is an award-winning architect with over 16 years of diverse international experience in the field both in Italy and abroad.
Throughout his career, Paolo has had the privilege of working on many notable projects while holding key roles at some of the most prestigious design firms.
As Senior Architect with international Italian firm nstudio based in Rome, Paolo was leading exhibition and Museum design projects such as the Musee Archeologique De La Breche Et De La Noye. At the London office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, Paolo was involved in the design of many international projects in Switzerland, Turkey and the UK, amongst them as the lead designer for the winning competition ITALIA 23, restoration and transformation of a building in Corso Italia 23 designed by Gio Ponti, Portaluppi & Fornaroli. Paolo also founded and assumed the role of design director of the 3TILAB architectural department of engineering firm 3ti Progetti Italia.
Paolo now holds the role of Creative Associate Director at Pace Architecture+Engineering, the leading firm in the middle east. As the director of design, he helped to grow the design team from a small boutique group to a full-scale design studio with offices in Kuwait, Rome & Saudi Arabia.
Amongst his most recent projects, spread across Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain, the most notable ones include the prototype of the 25 Schools in Kuwait, award-winning design for AIA middle east and WAN 2020 as The Best Future Educational Project; the refurbishment for a JW Marriot Hotel; the Campus schools in DIlmunia Bahrain; the Institute of Banking Studies and an important mosque in Kuwait.
Paolo and his team won a number of competitions and awards, amongst the most notable being the LEAF awards for The Best Future Building, Triennal of Sofia Interarch and 1st prize of International Baku Awards. He also participated as a juror in LEAF Awards, World Architecture Festival and was part of design Critic at the Penn State, IOWA in Rome, American University of Dubai and Herriot-watt.
